THE REAL MEXICO
HOME

On Monday 25 August the students of Year 8 were fortunate to watch two men perform as The Real Mexico. They shared their passion for music as they performed all different types of songs from slow songs, to fast pieces making the students feel the beat and tap along. These songs came from countries such as Cuba, Spain, Latin America, and of course, Mexico. They performed using many instruments such as trumpet, guitar, maracas, as well as the harp which many Year 8 students only saw or heard for the first time. This term Year 8 students having been learning the guitar so watching this performance was inspiring for us. Seeing how much passion for music they have helped us realize that music can be very enjoyable.
